Summary: Join a growing and dynamic team of Civil-Municipal Engineering professionals at an up-and-coming Professional Engineering Services Firm.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Preparation of Civil Engineering Drawings, Designs, Calculations, etc.
- Use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software to complete Civil Engineering design tasks. Primarily, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D will be used. Instruction and training will be provided.
- Preparation of Grading Plans, Servicing Plans, Stormwater Management Designs, Plan & Profiles, Construction Details and Specifications, Erosion & Sediment Control Plans, Storm Catchment Plans, Sanitary Catchment Plans, etc., under the supervision of senior staff.
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, Outlook – for tasks related to the preparation of Civil Engineering Deliverables.
- Participate-in and receive ongoing instruction and training from Senior Staff.
- Occasionally attend off-site meetings with clients; periodically attend construction site inspections to observe construction of civil engineering works.
Desired Qualifications:
- College Diploma or University Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Work Location:
- The successful candidate will work full-time in our office located at 60 Atlantic Ave., Toronto, for approximately the first month of their employment. Thereafter, a hybrid option will be offered.
